From the site. It's the number of first-time downloads of the bot. However, it is open-source and shared openly among players. It's probably far more. (what Danny Used Frenzy said).

Interrupt bots aren't really much of a problem (at least, not the ones released to the public). However, wait 2 weeks when the HA bot team is finished. You can't "trick" them. They'll be holding halls during off-hours.

There is no need to fix any of these bots. Banning players won't help either. Just join the botter and help make this community a better place. If everyone bots, we will all be on even field.

If everyone bots, then the HoM will have no value, the economy in GW will be pointless, the game will be unplayable in PvP and not worth playing in PvE, and Anet will look like idiots. And cupcake stacks stayed around 75-80k/ea the whole event, regardless of how many stacks were being sold at the time.
Oh, and by the way, there's a ToPK bot on the way that can farm ectos. Just a heads up.

The actual number of unique users is closer to about 1,500, but that doesn't include copies that the downloaders have individually distributed, nor the multiple accounts they're using.
I'm sure there's easily 5,000 accounts, though.
So except make endless amounts of gold what do they plan to do with those accounts.
If Anet really wanted to do something about this problem, wouldn't you think they would have done something already or at least have tried something?
If the bots are so easy to use and no one is being caught, I say we all just use bots. The economy will completely collapse in-game and PvP titles will be a joke.
Max titles. Those are the only two purposes, really.
Yeah but if they each have like 10 accounts do they plan on selling these account to new players when gw2 comes out, that's the worst case scenario I can think of.
@Ninja + @ Karate
2 Annoying opinions is not gonna force anet into anything. More then half of the players left are incoming players with zero experience. Id rather have a bot on my team then most of the people in this game, even on this forum. Btw bots held halls last night. Gz
Yes there is a big problem but there is also a bit of a witch hunt for players who are just good and 'rupting and have a decent ping.
Been accused of botting when your just a decent interupter is kinda crappy...
Deffo needs looking into.. but until then people need to realize that some people just arent crap, and reporting everyone who can consistently hit your 1 sec cast with a dshot is just wrong.
I think its gonna be pretty hard to remove all the bots, like it was in d2, especially with all the dll injectors ect used for texmod ect..

How would you have a bot on your team in HA, wouldn't they have there own team and bot vs bot team can make bots holding halls pretty easy especially when they can keep going for 24 hours unlike people who need sleep.

It's comments like these that are killing gw, btw do you even still play anymore?
Are we so political at this point that we have to sign a petition to demand the point of view a company has on an exploit that other rival companies face every day?
Give us all 5 everlasting cons sets that are stacking so we can all have 5 times the effect, that would make game easy for all, so everybody can speedsolo all areas, then there would be no need for bots.....
or just enforce the ban on these things please!

And ANet doesn't have to care about it. The devs have watered down every title multiple times in an effort to cater to the lowest common denominator, because that's who they're still selling games to. It's clear that the devs don't care whether there are meaningful, visible ways for players to signal their accomplishments, even though it's equally clear that there is high demand for the existence of those signals.
The economy will eventually crater irrespective of anything ANet does about the bots...unless rare miniatures and the Zaishen title provide tangible benefits people want in GW2.
I wish you well in your endeavor, but I would imagine that the devs will continue to ignore you. You want them to admit that there's a problem and do work. That's not likely to happen unless the devs suffer serious negative consequences as a result of the problem. Psychological research proves this.
If they're going to suffer as a result of the bot problem, that will happen irrespective of efforts to organize the community to apply pressure.

The problem with this assessment is that the demand for titles will not go away. 100,000 fame is a lot.
HA is only one part of pvp. The only people I can see not concerned about players abusing the game and making titles worthless are new players.
I've been playing this game for four and a half years now, i have my gwamm, my full hall, my elite weapon and armor sets.
I got it through time and effort and energy, I didn't partake in the RR farce, i haven't exploited the game in anyway, i don't even do speed clears because i think it's close to cheating. That said, I could care less about how others get their titles, I had fun getting to thirty my way. If somebody decides to be unscrupulous and bot titles it takes nothing away from my accomplishment.
To me, this issue is really only having an impact on people who i have distaste for, elitist and aspiring to be elitist pvpers that cry and cry and cry about everything (and there have been times where they cry about NOTHING I might add) and expect that they need to be serviced by Anet.
In short I could care less about bots or this perceived impending issue.
tldr; Hur Dur I'm a pve'er so i don't know anything about anything.

And that's exactly why I've said that I don't expect them to do anything. Not a damn thing, especially without players taking action. However, gamers are rarely motivated enough to boycott anything, so there's no point in even trying that and there's no other way to send Anet that signal really.
I'm kind of hoping that they'll just be honest with us....but I guess that's a pipe dream.

to pound a sad nail home...
i have watched the ranks of the bot sites swell over the last couple months. i will guess that for every 1 that signs up.. 10 do not... and for every 1 of them.. they tell at least 2-3 friends... who again start the cycle...
if we just now 'see' the confirmed swell of bots... i think we haven't seen anything yet.. and GW will be mostly bots by the end.

We are mainly talking about bots in pvp not pve, if you have no interest in pvp that's your decision but don't hate people that do care about the future of gw pvp. That said I've only seen bots in pve do farms for money and pve titles are more about doing things than money.
